North Glasgow College
North Glasgow College appointed Greenroom IKM to design its new £26 million facility in the Springburn area of the city. The project was opened by Princes Anne in 2009.
The 16,900m2 development will be home to a state-of-the-art resource centre, conference facilities and a fully equipped sports hall, providing a new social heart for the College campus for both students and the surrounding community. A complex building serving the needs of its versatile students and teaching facilities; from standard computer labs to acoustic music rooms, disabled learning centres to car workshops.
Our practice was commissioned to provide a full building servives design via the variable concepts incorporating environmental control BMS and intelligent lighting controls.
